Programa de Educación Nutricional de la Extensión de Nutrición de la Universidad de MassachusettsLa Oficina de Programas de Nutrición, Salud y Seguridad del Departamento de Educación Primaria y Secundaria, quisiera reconocer el esfuerzo realizado por los miembros de la comunidad de la Universidad de Massachusetts, Amherst y de muchos profesionales de distritos escolares quienes contribuyeron a este completo recurso de desarrollo profesional para personal de nutrición escolar.

Beneficiándose de una relación de mucho tiempo con el Programa de Extensión de Nutrición de UMass y del Programa de Educación de Gerencia Laboral del Lugar de Trabajo, Massachusetts se ha convertido en el primer estado en brindar entrenamiento interactivo online dirigido sobre nutrición escolar, entrenamiento en habilidades fundamentales, y talleres de Entrenamiento para Entrenadores para personal de nutrición escolar.

Además, los proyectos SMARTT serían una herramienta de desarrollo profesional mucho menos dinámica e impactante sin el aporte, retroalimentación, material de video, y recursos proveídos por las escuelas participantes.
